Obsolete tech & weapons. Lock-on fail!
We have better weapons today than in this "futuristic" space game! Multiple-target tracking is standard in todays jet fighters and missile systems, but in the game you can barely lockon to one ship. 20th-century missiles can fly 10,000 km around the globe! Why does GoF2 have prehistoric 1.5 km range guns/missiles & WW1-style airplane dogfights?
The games "spacey ships" have no friend-or-foe recognition ability & no counter measures that we have had for decades! Thus you constantly have target auto-lock-on failures that make you fire on friendly ships – the scanner fails every f*ing time!
I give you all an F- !
Speech & music do not work after updates.
On the other hand the game is beautiful, interesting to explore and carry out missions. But it gets repetative after a few hours and very predictable & boring since you cannot communicate as in a multiplayer. There are some glitches.
