Okay I NEVER write reviews but I just had to say: This is the greatest iPod game I have ever played and very much up there on regular games

You want a game you cant put down, this is it!!!

I love this game for what it is. But it can get a lot better. For example I was playing I saw one of the big ships and I thought there was a landing bay but sadly theres not but there should be. I finished the game and I have already got the add on now I say keep up the good work

This is a huge jump from the first one. This game has smooth gameplay, wide array of weapons, ships, missiles, types of missions and plenty of systems to explore and people to meet. This game is incredible in most ways imaginable. The story is satisfying and well lengthed. This game is what all apps strive to be.

I would give it 6 out of 5 stars if I could. When it comes to how real it looks, it seems like it should lag, but it doesnt. This is really the only space combat game I liked.

Great graphics and game play. But, I have finished the default story line and suddenly it is too difficult to play. I cant get out of the space station without getting attacked. My beefed up ship now cant deliver any kind of damage, and enemy ships seem to have super weapons. Not fun.

Ok so I havent found anything bad about it and thats cool.so heres some suggestions/praise1.i love the trading and combat2. I wish you could get out of the ship and walk around and buy weapons for your character and customize your guy and a symbol.3.more weapons and equipment.4.more races and a war that you can take part in.5.a first person cockpit view would be nice.and6.the planets are intimidating cause you cant get to it and land on them.plz use these and other than that awesome job love the graphics and the fog effects and Ive beaten the story and I have all the add ons and I love the kaamo club and I love the game

I love the game and everything it perfect and I just love the characters and the storyline.Then in 2015 spacefish announced the trailer of Galaxy on fire 3 and everyone is really hype for it and everyone wonder if they return the characters in galaxy on fire 2 and if they did then it will probably the best game in mobile games of 2015 of all time.and hopefully they did everything right that we wanted

Many an hour spent tinkering with my ship, an incredible space sim, even rivals certain pc space sims and that says alot. Everything from mineing, tradeing, fighting, upgrading your ship, and most important of all just floating through space in awe. Soundtrack is great for the game and creates the atmosphere of the vast emptiness of space and each star system is unique. You will lose many hours on this game

Not only did they do nothing for the people who paid $10 when the game first came out after it went freemium, but now my save file crashes the game.

I love this game I never stop playing plz make another.

Where do I begin? This is one of my favorite (if not my fav) game for iOS. The endless possibilities of gameplay and the many ships, weapons, armor, ect make this game more than just a campaign. The only flaw is that the add ons are a lot of money, even thought theyre totally worth it. Given the expensive add-ons, this game is awesome and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!

I got on and did the first fight and I liked that but when I had to mine it said to lock on and shoot and it started to lock and got to the end of locking and stop so I did not lock. And I had to do that to go on so that is why I gave it 2

I have noticed that most of the dialog automatically passes without my being able to read it. This ruins the story element for me and makes me have no idea why Im suddenly chasing wormholes etc. Im going to download gof2 hd to see if it has the same issue on my iPhone 6.

We have better weapons today than in this "futuristic" space game! Multiple-target tracking is standard in todays jet fighters and missile systems, but in the game you can barely lockon to one ship. 20th-century missiles can fly 10,000 km around the globe! Why does GoF2 have prehistoric 1.5 km range guns/missiles & WW1-style airplane dogfights? The games "spacey ships" have no friend-or-foe recognition ability & no counter measures that we have had for decades! Thus you constantly have target auto-lock-on failures that make you fire on friendly ships – the scanner fails every f*ing time! I give you all an F- ! Speech & music do not work after updates. On the other hand the game is beautiful, interesting to explore and carry out missions. But it gets repetative after a few hours and very predictable & boring since you cannot communicate as in a multiplayer. There are some glitches.

The game plays very well in iOS 9 on iPad pro, but the dialogue for the main story line skips to the end so you cant read mission descriptions or know what to do. No idea why it skips past dialogs but its awfully annoying and ruins the story.

Just as I said. This game is like a modern version of freelancer. Very entertaining.

But after I finished the story line I got bored

I have loved this title for years. Great gameplay, fun trade system, lots of free play ability. It is now so buggy, however, that story mode is unusable. Purchased add-ons? Tough luck - they do not carry over into the identical game, "HD", which is being marginally supported. This is a real disappointment - this game could have been enjoyed for a long time. Dont buy it, because without support many of the most compelling features are broken since iOS 9.

Its been a while but I finally have a game that I want to spend hours on
